A prime location within the 3 Vallées

Saint-Martin-de-Belleville sits at 1,450 metres, a position that gives quick access to the main summits of the 3 Vallées. Two ski lifts reach the col de Tougnète, at 2,437 metres, the gateway to the whole ski area and a direct route to Méribel and Les Menuires. The village combines this proximity to the main ski routes with a quiet setting, away from the bustle of busier resorts, where authentic and exclusive shops and services sit side by side.

Ideal ski conditions throughout the season

The ski area enjoys generous sunshine across all its pistes. Beginners and experienced skiers alike find options suited to their level, backed by a snow guarantee throughout the winter. The natural surroundings around the pistes remain unspoilt, and the ski lifts are laid out to keep skiers staying in the village moving smoothly between runs.

Ski passes and pistes for all levels

A combined ski pass for Les Menuires and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville gives access to 160 km of maintained pistes. To explore the whole territory, the Les 3 Vallées ski pass gives access to 347 pistes. The split by difficulty comprises 16% green runs and 41% blue runs, suited to beginners, as well as 33% red runs and 10% black runs for experienced skiers, complemented by off-piste routes. Ski instructors offer group and private lessons to support skiers' progress. Among the routes in the area, the blue run "Jérusalem", hilly and little used, feels close to off-piste skiing and is known mainly by word of mouth.

Getting around between the villages

The village centre and the Grangeraies district each have their own lift access, making it easy to reach the pistes from accommodation. Ski lockers are also available for hire in the heart of the village. For journeys between resorts, free shuttles run from Sunday to Friday, linking Saint-Martin-de-Belleville with Val-Thorens via Les Menuires. The service also serves the villages of Saint-Marcel, Les Granges and Praranger, and connects the different districts of Les Menuires.

Exceptional areas and services

At the bottom station of the St Martin Express chairlift, at 1,800 metres, a 250 m² panoramic relaxation area brings together a rest zone and a picnic spot overlooking the Belleville valley. For tailored learning, the Académie de Ski offers private lessons open to all levels and ages, with pick-up directly from the chalet by local instructors.
